That's a monster bag!

I have just finished packing my bike and it looks HUGE!!!

Jeez! How am I going to carry that all the way to Paris and Besançon!?!? I am not really looking forward to travelling tomorrow. It is going to be a mission!

What's a triathlon?

Triathlon is a sport that combines three disciplines: swimming, cycling and running. The purpose is to complete a set distance in each discipline successively and as quickly as possible. Each component of the triathlon is timed including 'transitions' and the winner is the person completing the whole event in the shortest time.

There are several distances in triathlon. The shortest distance you can find is called Super Sprint (400 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run). The distances recognised internationally by triathlon's federations are the Sprint Distance (750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5km run), the Intermediate Distance (aka Standard or Olympic Distance) (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run), the Long Course (1.9 km swim, 90 km bike, 21,1 km run) and the Ultra Distance, aka Ironman (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km run).
